An experienced property investor had a dream of helping new rental property owners grow and thrive in their businesses. They believed that they could use their knowledge and expertise to help these new landlords to avoid many of the problems that occur in their first few years of owning a property.
They needed to find a way to educate these property owners without requiring them to attend classes in person. What they needed was a custom eLearning platform designed to cater specifically to investors of single-family rental properties. The custom eLearning platform would help these rental professionals avoid many of the problems that could be easily avoided with some educational training.
They came to Orange County WordPress development agency, Idea Maker looking for a solution that would help them to set prices for classes, allow clients to purchase the classes, and allow them to attend classes at their leisure. They also wanted to make sure that the custom eLearning platform was easy to use by anyone.
Our Solution
The creators of Landlord School worked with Idea Maker through our effective website development process to pinpoint all the features they needed for their custom eLearning platform’s website to be a success. They discovered that they would need payment processing features, a learning management system, and a way to customize their pricing options for classes.
Idea Maker’s team of knowledgeable and experienced WordPress developers quickly went to work creating a website that was not only beautifully designed but was also full of useful features to help Landlord School’s students learn and thrive. The team decided to use WordPress because it was flexible to use and easy for the Landlord School team to go into later to make the changes they needed when necessary.
For payment processing and customizable pricing options, the Idea Maker team chose to use WooCommerce options. These options allowed them to change prices to meet the needs of their students at will and accept payments from students using a variety of payment methods.
Idea Maker also used the LearnDash LMS (learning management system) to help them create a custom eLearning platform to help them educate their students. The custom eLearning platform, created with LearnDash, allowed the Landlord School team, to upload video classes for their students with ease. LearnDash also gave them the ability to create quizzes and tests to help enhance the education of their students.
After completing the website development process with Idea Maker their dream of creating a custom eLearning platform became a reality. And they were poised to create success for not only themselves but their students as well.
