The Problem
Our client, New View Eye Wear, wanted to create a platform that allowed opticians and eyewear kiosks customers to try on glasses through augmented reality (AR) while also taking frame measurements. Unfortunately, our client initially approached an inexperienced, low-cost developer on Fiverr that was unable to deliver on the project, leaving them with a broken and unusable website.
Our Solution
Using the machine learning (ML) technology New View Eye Wear had already invested in, we combined it with augmented reality, creating a functional system that serves their needs. Additionally, we also created a smooth front end to allow shop owners and kiosks to easily use the platform and process customer orders.
What We Did
We combined ML and AR technology to allow users to virtually try out glasses without having to wear the real ones.
We build a user-facing portal that makes it easy for kiosks to manage and process customer orders while viewing their measurements and information.
