Businesses are required to fulfill government regulations to run their business. However, the compliance documents are often hundreds of pages long, complex, and time-consuming to read. Companies used to hire experts to read those documents, identify the relevant requirements, and provide recommendations on fulfilling compliance requirements. Our client needed a scalable SaaS solution that could help businesses understand these documents in a quick and user-friendly way by using an AI chatbot.
Our Solution
We developed Export Orbital, an AI SaaS platform that is trained on compliance documents and provides an intuitive chat interface. Now, instead of sifting through long, complicated documents, the user interacts with a chatbot which understands and asks context-aware questions to provide users with tailored strategic recommendations. This approach saves their time and helps them meet compliance goals.
What We Did
We developed an AI-powered chatbot using OpenAI that reads and interprets long government documents. The chatbot interacts with users in a guided Q&A format and assists them in locating specific requirements relevant to their industry and circumstances. This system extracts context, clarifies ambiguities, and generates tailored strategies to follow the compliance needs.
We fine-tuned the chatbot by training it on real government compliance documents, sample regulations, and policies so that it understood the compliance language. We used prompt engineering and retrieval flow to find relevant clauses and connect them to real-world implementation strategies. We used Pinecone as a vector database for semantic document search and retrieval.
We built this complete, end-to-end, scalable SaaS platform using Django on the backend and React on the front end. The system includes user authentication, chat management, subscription handling, and payment processing. Similar to leading AI chat tools, users can manage multiple sessions, revisit previous chats, and upgrade their plans as needed.
