Open House Junky

Knowing where properties are is just as important as knowing their availability. As a result, we integrated an intelligent maps API that allows estate agents to denote property addresses accurately. The easy-to-understand map feature also ensures that homebuyers can access a comprehensive and up-to-date listing of open houses in their area and discover links to detailed listings.

In addition to integrating the platform with maps, we also included a live route planning feature to help users find their properties and events in an organized manner. To do this, we created an algorithm that integrated with our maps features, enabling the platform to generate logical routes based on event locations and times. This way, users can receive an optimal route for all the open houses they’d like to attend on any given day.

Sometimes it can be difficult to settle on a property, so we implemented a search save feature that allows users to document their previous location searches. Subsequently, when they return to the site, they can easily pick up where they left off and avoid potentially missing out on finding their dream property. Users also have the option of “liking” their favorite properties, RSVPing to open houses and receiving notifications for upcoming events.

On the agent side, we built a portal that lets realtors manage all of their listings, schedule open houses throughout the year and see how many people have viewed a listing or RSVPed to an open house. We also made an e-commerce portal with Stripe that enables agents to assign credits that can be used to create open house events and listings.
