The Problem
Our client, Plane Fax, provides aviation buyers and sellers with marketing services and resources, such as access to an extensive network of dealers. Until approaching Idea Maker, Plane Fax’s online services were limited, failing to offer an entirely digitized platform and servicing clients the old fashion way. When Plane Fax recognized a need to make their business digital, they chose to work with us at Idea Maker. Not only did this mean building an intricate marketing campaign creation system with different portals for both buyers and sellers, but it also involved a complete overhaul of their existing website’s content.
Our Solution
After discussing the project requirements with our client, Plane Fax, we at Idea Maker pooled our resources together and created a robust development and design plan. This involved regular meetings with the client to ensure they were happy with our progress, along with frequent quality assurance checks. During the development process itself, we were able to integrate an intelligent credit system to allow the client’s customers to purchase their services conveniently.
What We Did
We create individual user portals for different types of Plane Fax customers. This includes a dealer, buyer, seller, and administrative portal. Each portal gives users an alternative permission set and access to relevant features. These portals help our client better organize their customer base without giving up unnecessary control.
To make the transaction process more efficient, we introduced a credit system whereby customers would purchase Plane Fax services using credits at checkout. Customers are able to purchase credits upon creating an account and can store their card details. This means they no longer have to have their physical cards on hand when reaching check out.
Plane Fax regularly receives large influxes of new aircraft to sell, meaning their platform required a digital store catalog to present their customers’ stock. We built an intuitive store catalog that allows users to swiftly filter and search through their library of aircraft, helping them to find the correct planes for them.
