The Problem
Our client identified a need for designated spaces in airports that could be utilized by frustrated travelers whose flights have been delayed. As a result, our client approached us to develop a web app that allows users to register their flights and gain special access to luxury airport lounges if a delay occurs. This functionality would also be integrated with their parent service, HelloVacay, which you can read more about in our portfolio.
Our Solution
We built a web app to our client’s specifications, integrating the platform with their parent services and implementing many unique features. This development also involved the use of complex APIs to communicate with airports and grab flight data. By leveraging our expertise, users can now gain access to luxury airport lounges whenever their flights are delayed.
What We Did
Users can register their flight with the app through our intuitive user interface. Registering the key flight details allows the app to grab all necessary information from the internet and properly monitor its status.
If users wish to check the status of their flight, they can visit the flight status page where all pertinent details about their flight are listed, including whether it’s delayed or on time.
When a user’s flight is delayed, they are notified by email and sent a unique QR code. This QR code can then be used to get into luxury lounges in airports.
